A Magical Treasure Hunt for Little Adventurers

New scavenger hunt for kids launched in Zell (Mosel)

Zell (Mosel) – A mysterious theft, an enchanted cat’s paw, and a wine harvest in jeopardy: A very special adventure now awaits young explorers in Zell (Mosel). With a lovingly designed scavenger hunt for children, the town invites families to explore the Moselle town in a playful way - and save a magical amulet along the way.

At the heart of the story is “Mia,” a little black cat from the Zell vineyards. As a descendant of the famous Zell Black Cat, her family has guarded a magical amulet for centuries that helps the winemakers during the grape harvest. But the amulet has been stolen! Now Mia’s paw has turned to stone, and the upcoming grape harvest is in danger.

Together with Mia, children embark on an exciting treasure hunt through the town. At various stations, they must collect clues, solve puzzles, and decipher hidden messages. Those who complete all the tasks will be rewarded with a little surprise at the end.

The scavenger hunt combines outdoor activity with an imaginative story centered around the city’s historic landmark. This way, children and their families can learn about the unique features of Zell (Mosel) in a fun and engaging way—from the picturesque alleys to the surrounding vineyards.

The new children’s scavenger hunt is ideal for family outings, vacationers, and young explorers from the region. The flyer for the scavenger hunt is now available for download here. A printed version is also available at the Tourist Information Office.

The idea for the new children’s scavenger hunt came from Zeller Land Tourismus GmbH, while Stadtmarketing Zell (Mosel) handled the final planning and implementation. The goal is to further expand the town’s family-friendly offerings and introduce both young visitors and locals to Zell in a creative way.

Now it’s time to join in, solve the puzzles, and save the amulet together with Mia!
