Torchlight walk connects the districts of Zell and delights visitors
Last Saturday, December 7, 2024, Zell (Moselle) shone in a special light: the star torchlight walk of the Zell districts brought residents and guests together in a wintry atmosphere.
The walking groups set off from the four districts - Zell, Merl, Kaimt and vom Barl - in the late afternoon, equipped with torches, lanterns and glittering fairy lights. The magical atmosphere, supported by the wonderful winter weather, made the hike an experience for everyone involved. The groups reached the festively decorated market square at around 6 p.m., where they were greeted by the wine majesties Maja and Laura and many spectators.
Together, everyone enjoyed the convivial atmosphere with warming mulled wine, hearty soup and delicious sausages. Accompanied by the music of the band handmade2, people celebrated, laughed and chatted. The market square was transformed into a place of encounters and cohesion - a sign of the strong community in Zell and its districts.
