The year 2023 in Zell (Mosel) was all about the “800 years of town rights” anniversary. For example, many industrious hands planted tulips in the shape of the number 800 in all parts of the town, providing a beautiful backdrop for the occasion.
The highlight of the anniversary celebrations was the medieval spectacle on the first weekend in September around the market square in the old town. On Saturday, there was also a concert evening in the “Zeller Schwarze Katz” hall from 7 pm - with the soprano Agnes Selma Weiland, the Zell Orchestra Association, the MGV Lyra Kaimt and the MGV Ediger 1871 e.V.
